The new TechForge Accelerator from Business Sheffield consists of five in-person workshop sessions designed to support the needs of technology-centred startups, especially those involving software. These free sessions take place at Electric Works in Sheffield, starting on Thursday 27th February.
The TechForge Accelerator is best suited to founders who are at an early stage – for example, you might just have an idea, be working on a prototype (or MVP), or have done some initial trading. Founders can book into one or more workshops in the series. The workshops last just over 2 hours, with an opportunity to network at the end.
The sessions will be led by Sheffield Business' highly experienced Tech Scale-Up Advisors, all founders themselves who have scaled and exited tech businesses. They cover different stages of a tech founder's journey, including getting started, grants, generating income, building an MVP and investment. There is no prep work required, and you can take part if you're already part of another incubation programme such as The Cooper Project or The Furnace.
The sessions are designed to give practical advice to help new businesses succeed. Register for the TechForge Accelerator workshops here: TechForge Accelerator.
